Ethereal Counterbalance

On 9th April Rod bought a new amplifier and effects pedals for live work. Then, on Sunday April 22nd, Christine and Rod drove up to London, stayed the night at Nick and Jan's and traveled to the Goldust Studios in Bromley the next day (where Bevis Frond's "Any Gas Faster" and The Steppes' "Enquire Within" had been recorded, amongst others) to lay down drums, sitar and piano on the already recorded (on the faithful Tascam portastudio - free plug) songs that would later come to be the "Ethereal Counterbalance" album. On the Wednesday (that would make it April 25th) they mixed and produced the finished album and drove back to Calne.
