Buzzard

RR: "The band came about when Alehouse folded. We had some outstanding engagements as Alehouse, but we fancied a complete name- change. Best gig was probably our top billing at The Westwood Festival, but before the band could make any kind of impact, I received an unexpected kind of 'impact' when I got hit by a car in Finchley High Road (Adrian Shaw & I running in the rain, desperate to get to the off-licence'), which broke a couple of ribs, one of which threatened to puncture a lung if I didn't stop singing (or shouting) for about 6 months. This knocked the band on its pointed little head. Otherwise we were a tight little unit, very into "Tres Hombres" by Z.Z.Top, ha ha".
